There may be more of the active ingredient than specified, or metal particles from the manufacturing process, according to the New York Times article.

I've seen friends on Facebook post that you can take bottles you've got to CVS for a replacement with the CVS brand generic.

Sigh. This is mildly worrisome but mostly a pain in the butt.  Must find time to replace the bottles.  Will try not to take them for a refund and then spend the refund on lip gloss, chocolate or other much more fun products.

What is up with springtime?  This year I actually HAVE Benadryl in the cabinet because of allergies.  I want the colds and misery to stay well ensconced in autumn and winter thankyouverymuch.  But I suppose I have to replace. Gah.
