Hey have you heard of the O-Mama website? I learned about it through Facebook and then joined the site. It seems to just be discussion forums for moms who want to talk politics across the aisle. The idea is bringing together across the political spectrum to discuss headline news like immigration, healthcare, elections as well as shared interests like religion, moms of multiples, etc.
It looks very well done, almost slick. The videos of the founders, Deb and Michelle, have a produced look- especially the one they just did as their interview for Oprah's contest to find a network tv host.
Deb is a Republican and Michelle is a Democrat, and they like to say/show that they can cross party lines to maintain their friendship and communicate civilly about issues.
I'm interested in where this goes, if folks sign up and stick around for deeper conversations. I'd love to know if any of you check it out.
